Securify Inc. and its affiliates (“Securify”, “we”, “our” or “us”) provide the Securify mobile application (the “App”), our website located at https://securifyapp.com (the “Site”), landing pages, and browser extensions (collectively with the App and the Site, the “Platforms”), together with all related services provided through them (collectively, the “Services”). Securify is the data controller (contact details in section 13 below). Please read this Policy carefully, as it includes important information about your Personal Data. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, store, use and share your Personal Data. This Policy applies whenever you access or use any of our Services, including any of our Platforms, and to any other interaction you have with us. We strongly urge you to read this Policy and make sure that you fully understand and agree to it. If you do not agree to this Policy, please discontinue and avoid using our Services. Providing Personal Data to us is voluntary, you have the right to cease using our Services at any time. For purposes of applicable data protection laws, we act as data controller or a business for the Personal Data collected through the Services.
You are not legally required to provide us with any Personal Data (as defined below), but without it we will not be able to provide you with the full range or with the best experience of using our Services.
1. Personal Data We Collect
We collect Personal Data about you. “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, as defined under applicable privacy laws. We collect Personal Data that you provide to us directly, that we collect automatically when you access or use any of our Platforms, and that we receive from third parties, regardless of the device, browser or platform you use.
1.1. Account information: If you decide to register an account with our Services, we may collect your full name, phone number, email address.
1.2. Payment information: If you purchase our services, we will collect the billing and payment information required to process your charges. This may include your postal address, email address, or payment information.
1.3. Usage information: When you use our Services, we collect information about your interaction with our Services. Such information includes purchase history and data pertaining to your activities on our Services, as well as information generated when you interact with any of our Platforms (for instance, how and when you use our Platforms).
1.4. Identifiers and technical information: When you use our Services, we collect technical information such as IP address, device identifiers (e.g., IDFV for iOS devices and Android ID for Android devices), information about your device and connection, including user agent, browser type and version, connection type, timestamp, system language, device model, screen resolution and settings, battery level, available storage space, time zone, and operating system.
1.5. Communication information: When you contact us via email or through the support channels available on any of our Platforms, we collect the Personal Data you provide, which include your name, email address, company, and any other information you choose to provide.
1.6. Safe-browsing data: Where you use our Services, we may collect and process information about your network activity, including URLs and domains you attempt to access, DNS queries, and network connection metadata.
1.7. AI Inputs and Prompts: When you use our AI features, we collect the text, prompts, and queries you submit solely to process your requests, deliver responses and for the improvement of the Services.
1.8. Sensitive Personal Data: We will only collect such sensitive Personal Data with your prior consent, where required by applicable laws. If you provide us with information regarding other individuals or on their behalf, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from such third parties for the disclosure of their Personal Data to us. You shall bear sole responsibility in this regard.
2. Tracking Technologies
When you access our Services, we use cookies, pixels, beacons, local storage and similar technologies ("Tracking Technologies”) to automatically collect information about you, your device, and your online behavior for the purposes of enhancing navigation, improving performance, performing analytics, and customizing your experience.
2.1. Types of Tracking Technologies When you use or access our Services, we use the following categories of Tracking Technologies: (a) Strictly necessary Tracking Technologies: these Tracking Technologies are automatically placed on your computer or device when you access or take certain actions on our Services. These Tracking Technologies are essential to enable you to navigate around and use the features of our Services; (b) Functionality Tracking Technologies: these Tracking Technologies allow our Services to remember choices you make (such as your language) and provide enhanced and personalized features. For example, these Tracking Technologies are used for authentication (to remember when you are logged-in) and support other features of our Services; (c) Performance Tracking Technologies: these Tracking Technologies collect information about your online activity (for example the duration of your visit on our Services), including referral source and IP-based geolocation. These Tracking Technologies are used for analytics, research and to perform statistics (based on aggregated information); and (d) Tracking and Advertising Tracking Technologies: These Tracking Technologies collect information about your browsing habits to limit ad frequency and measure campaign effectiveness. Third-party networks may also use similar technologies, governed by their own privacy policies, which Securify does not control.
2.2. Storage of Tracking Technologies We store “First Party Tracking Technologies” on your device when you access our Services. Third parties (e.g., analytics providers, business partners, advertisers) also store “Third-party Tracking Technologies” on our Services. Both types may persist for a single visit or for repeat visits. You can manage Tracking Technologies via our cookie settings tool (however, please note that this tool may only be available in certain jurisdictions) or your browser settings, including sending a “Do-Not-Track” signal. Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services. 3. Processing of Your Personal Data
Any Personal Data we collect is being used in a way that is consistent with this Policy, and is used as follows:

4. Sharing of Your Personal Data
We may share and disclose your Personal Data as permitted by law, with:
4.1. Affiliated companies: We may share Personal Data internally within our affiliated companies and subsidiaries, for the purposes described in this Policy.
4.2. Payment processors: We share your payment information with third party payment processors, for the purpose of facilitating your payments when using our Services. These third parties may have access to your Personal Data so that they may perform these tasks on our behalf.
4.3. Service providers: Service providers working on our behalf and who need access to certain Personal Data in order to provide their services to us. These companies include, but are not limited to, cloud storage providers, analytics services, fraud prevention, third-party AI and large language model providers that may process your inputs to generate responses when you use our AI features and others.
4.4. Law enforcement agencies: We may disclose data about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we believe necessary to respond to legal processes (including subpoenas), protect rights and safety, or prevent illegal activity. We may also disclose Personal Data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including for national security or law enforcement purposes.
4.5. Auditors and advisers: We share your data with our external auditors, advisors and professional service providers (e.g., lawyers, accountants, insurers etc.) to ensure our compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, auditing, managing disputes etc.
4.6. Mergers and acquisitions: We may transfer or otherwise share your data in case of entering into a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets.
5. Marketing and Advertising
We use your Personal Data to provide you with non-personalized promotional content within our Services. You can decline receiving further marketing communications from us at any time by contacting us at privacy@securifyapp.com. Please note that even if you unsubscribe from our marketing mailing list, we may continue to send you service-related updates and notifications.
6. Your Privacy Rights
6.1. Depending on the jurisdiction in which you reside and the applicable law, you may have certain rights under relevant applicable laws regarding the collection and processing of your Personal Data. To the extent these rights apply and concern you, you can contact us via the contact details available below and ask to exercise the following rights.
6.1.1. Rights of access to your Personal Data: You have the right to receive confirmation as to whether or not Personal Data concerning you is being processed, and access your stored Personal Data, together with supplementary information.
6.1.2. Right of data portability: You have the right to request us to move, copy and transfer your Personal Data easily from one IT environment to another, in a safe and secure way, without affecting its usability.
6.1.3. Right of rectification: You have the right to request rectification of your Personal Data in our control in the event that you believe the Personal Data held by us is inaccurate, incomplete or outdated.
6.1.4. Right of deletion/erasure: You have the right to request that we erase or delete Personal Data held about you at any time.
6.1.5. Right to restriction or objection to processing: You have the right to request that we restrict or cease to conduct certain Personal Data processes at any time.
6.1.6. Right to withdraw your consent: To the extent we process Personal Data on the basis of your consent, you may have the right to withdraw your given consent at any time.
6.1.7. Right not to be subject to automated decision-making and profiling: Under the GDPR, you have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. Where such processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or is based on your explicit consent, we will implement suitable measures to safeguard your rights, including the right to obtain human intervention, to express your point of view, and to contest the decision. Under the CCPA, you may also have the right to opt out of a business’s use of automated decision-making technology in connection with decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. If we use automated decision-making technology in a manner subject to this right, we will provide notice and an opportunity to opt out as required by applicable law.
6.1.8. Right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Data: Under the CCPA, if applicable, a “sale” means disclosing or making available Personal Data to a third party in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. “Sharing” means disclosing or making available Personal Data to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes, whether or not for consideration. We do not Sell or Share your Personal Data within the meaning of the CCPA.
6.1.9. Right to non-discrimination: You have the right to be free from any discrimination for exercising your rights, such as offering you different pricing or products, or providing you with a different level or quality of services, based solely upon your request.
6.1.10. Right to lodge a complaint: All requests, complaints or queries may be addressed to Securify at: privacy@securifyapp.com. We will consider any requests, complaints or queries and provide you with a reply in a timely manner. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the applicable data protection supervisory authority or appeal our denial by contacting us as set out in the “Contact Us” section below.
These rights are not absolute and may be subject to our legitimate interests and regulatory requirements. We will only use Personal Data provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor's identity or authority to make the request. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.
Authorized agent
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will require authorized agents to confirm their identity and authorization to act on your behalf, in accordance with applicable laws.
7. Transfer of Personal Data
We operate globally, and your Personal Data may be stored and processed in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, United States, and other jurisdictions. These countries' data protection rules may differ from those in your country. We will take appropriate measures to ensure our transfers comply with applicable data protection laws. To the extent that the GDPR or UK GDPR are applicable, we will only transfer or share your Personal Data to data recipients:
a. located in the EEA or in the UK;
b. located in non-EEA countries or UK which have been approved as providing adequate level of data protection; or
c. who have entered into legal agreements ensuring an adequate level of data protection.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational steps, consistent with industry standards, to protect your Personal Data from loss, misuse, or alteration. If you notice any security violations, please report them to us at privacy@securifyapp.com.
9. Minors
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, if different) to use our Services. By accessing or using the Services, you certify that you meet this requirement.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from anyone under 18 or under the local age of consent. In the event we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a minors below the age of 18 (or under the local age of consent), we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete such information from our records in a secure manner. 10. Retention
We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods are determined based on the type and purpose of the data collected, with outdated information destroyed at the earliest reasonable time.
11. Updates to This Policy
We may change this Policy at any time; the most current version will always be posted through our Services. You are advised to check for updates regularly. By continuing to use our Services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Policy. If this Policy is changed materially, we will notify you of such changes as we deem appropriate before they enter into effect, unless the change originates from a legal or regulatory requirement. If you do not agree to the modified Policy, your sole remedy will be to terminate your account and immediately cease accessing and using the Services.
12. Controlling Version
This Policy has been drafted in English, which is the controlling version. Any translations are for convenience only. In case of discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
